Jenkins Tree Farms was founded by Dave Jenkins, whose deep-rooted passion for agriculture began on his family’s dairy farm. Raised by parents who valued hard work and integrity, Dave started milking cows and working the fields at a young age—laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to farming.
In 1976, Dave launched a landscape company, which he successfully ran for over 40 years before passing the reins to his son. In the early 2000’s, he returned to his farming roots and established Jenkins Tree Farms, which he operated with care and pride for nearly 15 years.
Following Dave’s passing in the spring of 2025, longtime and trusted employee Roger Gehring stepped in to oversee day-to-day operations. Today, Roger continues Dave’s legacy—managing over 60 species of trees across nearly 300 acres with the same commitment to quality, integrity, and excellence that defined Dave’s work.
